Every person that arrives in the UK as a refugee needs support to find their feet again. RRN is a friendly community of local people who care, and there are plenty of ways to join us.
While we welcome everyone to get involved and make a difference, we are particularly looking for:
Arabic or Ukrainian speakers – to translate, and to help people navigate their new life.
Teachers – to help people continue with their education and, where necessary, offer English lessons.
IT specialists
Landlords – especially if you can offer guaranteed rents, and management services like maintenance provision and bonds.
Lawyers
Marcomms professionals & film makers – to help us share our story.
We are always looking for people that can generally lend a hand, so do get in touch if you’re willing to pitch in with a community event, or help the organisation run behind the scenes. Every bit of support means so much, and it’s a flexible way to be part of the community and really make a difference.
Please contact hello@uralrefugeenetwork.org to join our mailing list and hear about projects and opportunities.
